made our trip to TAS!

From the US and stayed at the house for a week in June. Where to begin? The house is absolutely beautiful! Once you know how special Huon Pine and the wood of TAS is you appreciate how amazing the decor is. We woke up to about 8 wallabies hopping around the yard every morning, parrots, lots of other birds chatting in the mornings. Waking up to the sunrise looking through the huge windows out on the sea and city with a cup of coffee was a ritual every morning. Woke up early just to see the day start from that view. It is super quite at night sitting out on the patio looking at the city lights below. Kingston is very close so easy to drive down the hill into town for anything you need or a quick trip to the beach. Really enjoyed having our local friends over for a pizza buffet cooked in the outdoor pizza oven. Glass of wine, tending the oven looking at the view with good friends and good food! One of the best memories of our two week stay in TAS. Anh was super helpful and great at getting back with us if we had any questions. Definitely take some time to walk up the road and check out the trail that leads up to some amazing views. Was a good start to the day to do a little walk and come back to the well equipped kitchen and make some breakfast. Beds were super comfortable! We did not want to leave!! Thank you Anh and family for sharing your wonderful home and making our trip to Tasmania so memorable!
